Leaders-in-Training

Leaders in Training (LiT) is a flagship capacity-building program within the IPSF World Congress, designed to equip pharmacy students and young professionals with essential leadership, advocacy, and professional development skills. This dynamic and interactive program fosters personal and professional growth through workshops, mentorship sessions, and hands-on activities led by experienced facilitators. Participants engage in discussions on global health, pharmacy practice, and policy while developing critical skills such as communication, teamwork, and strategic thinking. As an integral part of the 70th IPSF World Congress, LiT offers a unique opportunity for future pharmacy leaders to connect, collaborate, and prepare to drive impactful change in the profession and beyond.

Main Congress

The Main Congress Programme is the heart of the 70th IPSF World Congress, bringing together pharmacy students, professionals, and industry leaders for an immersive experience of learning, networking, and cultural exchange. Delegates will participate in high-impact symposia, panel discussions, and workshops covering critical topics in pharmacy practice, healthcare innovation, and public health. The IPSF General Assembly, a key feature of the Congress, will provide a platform for decision-making and shaping the future of the Federation. Complementing the academic sessions, delegates will enjoy vibrant social events, cultural nights, and excursions, making the Congress a well-rounded and unforgettable experience.

Post Congress Tour

The Post-Congress Tour (PCT) is the perfect way to unwind and explore the breathtaking beauty of Kenya after an engaging Congress. Designed for adventure seekers and culture enthusiasts alike, this tour offers delegates an extraordinary safari experience to witness Kenya’s iconic wildlife followed by a coastal retreat to the sun-kissed beaches of Malindi and Watamu. Delegates will visit renowned sites such as Malindi Marine Park, Nairobi Safari Park, Vasco da Gama Pillar monument, Mambrui Sand Dunes, Gede Museum, Mida Creek and the Arabuko Sokoke Forest Reserve, immersing themselves in Kenya’s rich biodiversity and heritage. The PCT is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the magic of Africa while bonding with fellow delegates in a relaxed and scenic setting. 

Day 12: August 15, 2025

  • 3:00pm: Flight to Malindi
  • 5:00pm: Check-in to vilas
  • 6:00pm: Dinner & sun set watching at Lichthaus by Temple Point
  • 7:00pm onwards: Free time

Day 13: August 16, 2025

  • 8:00am: Site visit to Vasco da Gama Pillar monument
  • 11:00am: Site visit to Malindi Marine Park
  • 3:00pm: Site visit to Mambrui Sand Dunes
  • 6:00pm: Dinner & Free Time
  • 8:00pm onwards: Beach Party at Paparemo Beach & Restaurant

Day 14: August 17, 2025

  • 8:00am: Site visit to Gede Ruins & Museum
  • 10:30am: Shopping at Watamu Tourist Market (Free Time)
  • 2:00pm: Site visit to Mida Creek and/or Arabuko Sokoke Forest Reserve
  • 6:00pm: Dinner & Closing Ceremony

Day 15: August 18, 2025

  • 10:00am: SGR Train to Nairobi
  • 3pm onwards: Departure of participants
